Nicky is amazing. We have been working with her for over a year and she is so dedicated. She makes things fun for my little guy and he looks forward to seeing her.

Everyone there is kind and patient, comminication is very smooth and responsive. I want to especially recommand Shannon (our OT), even we just begin to work together for half year through our biweekly email consulation and coaching. I apreciate it so much that she is not only being very professional and knowledgable about PDA, and also very neurodiversity affirmative, she provides so much supports with lots of respect and empathy to our little guy and our family, I've recently asked several times for some urgent supports and she is always very quick responsive and provide the beyound expected help and support for us. I'm so greatful of having her as supporter and advocator for our journey. Thank you so much Shannon!

It was truly a pleasure working with Nicky Addison. She has a calm, warm, clear and supportive communication style. Our diagnostic session was eye-opening. Talk about comprehensive, informative and reassuring. Based on that I was able to make the decision that therapy was right for me. I really enjoyed our sessions. I’m not sure speech therapy is supposed to be fun but Nicky made it so. I am so pleased with my end state.

The whole team at VSLC is incredible. My daughter has been with them since she was a year old (she is now almost 5). There have been times when I haven't been as involved as I would have liked, and the team, specifically Laura, has kept the continuity of therapy going for my daughter. She genuinely cares about my girl and knows her so well. Laura and Tieghan's progress notes are incredible, and it shows they really know how to support my girl. Laura comes to my daughter's daycare and collaborates with my daughter's BI to implement strategies to help her. She also advocates extremely professionally for our family if we think we need to be heard. I couldn't recommend VSLC anymore; they are all amazing, and I appreciate them immensely.

VLSC's neurodiversity-affirming and child-led approach has helped our child to thrive, and equipped us to better understand who she is as a person, her personality, strengths, and her unique needs for support. Our daughter has a great bond with her therapists, who are very knowledgeable, and we especially appreciate the option to have in-home sessions. I love how they focus on her strengths and appreciate her for who she is. She's making amazing progress in this supportive environment.

(I’m reposting my original review since I’ve changed accounts and there’s no way to transfer it.) I can’t rate VSLC highly enough! Definitely the best services for speech and OT on the Island. Carla recruits truly incredible staff. We have been working with Caitlin and Shannon so far who are both skilled and dedicated to helping their clients. They go above and beyond to build connection with my daughter and help her feel more at ease in sessions which is no small feat! They are willing to collaborate with other professionals on our team and try different approaches to prevent her from shutting down while gently expanding her boundaries and teaching new skills.The progress and growth we have seen so far is remarkable and well worth every penny. In fact, I’ll be forever indebted to them for their support. If you are looking for speech and/or OT services, this is definitely the best place to go!
